Hello! My name is Zoe Wooten, and I am a lover of writing and art. I currently study at the University of Cincinnati in the College of Design, Architecture, Art, and Planning (DAAP). 

I was born in Lianjiang and adopted into Cincinnati at 11 months old. I gravitated towards art early on, teetering between drawing and writing. I adored learning Spanish in school, and I still use the childish hieroglyphs I made as a kid. For fun, I taught my little sister cursive before she reached kindergarten.

I often linger in graphite, but have love for acrylics and ceramics too. For writing, realistic fiction, journaling, blog writing, and poetry are what I enjoy most.  

My work explores family, adoption, identity, childhood, God, and relationships. I am driven by trying to understand human function and relations, and expressing personal ideas that challenge cultural norms.
