Painting

Acrylic paintings have been mostly for appearance. I have been a part of two downtown Cincinnati Murals “Cheers to Cincy” and Cincinnati Open.

“Rain Flowers”

9in x 12in, Acrylic, February, 2024

This painting I did as my second introduction to acrylic painting following a tutorial online.

“Flower Path”

8in x 10in, Acrylic, August, 2024

I painted this as one of my first no tutorial paintings. Based on an oil painting from Pinterist.

“Daymares”

2.5ft x 4.5ft, Acrylic, Paper, Coffee, Poster board, Spring, 2024

This is a life-size self-portrait piece about scenes I get in my head. These scenes create stories that I stitch together through short fiction. They are often brutal visuals although you would never know I’m seeing them by looking at me. They are daily and I can often feel the physical sensations people in the scenes have. It often feels like my stomach is twisting, but there are also sweet scenes that give me butterflies. It’s not a medical condition, but a way I detach from the world.
