Bull

I built a bull from terracotta slabs to practice slab building. Its exposed back allows room for the storage of papers or a candle that will light up its eyes and nostrils.

Ideation

I first made variations of the bull and cut out a paper model to be like cookie cutters for the slabs

Assembling

This was assembled from terracotta slabs

Underglaze

The face has a thick layer of white slip. The brown is mixed underglaze put on top.
