Davy Jones

I chose to make Davy Jones out of pure nostalgia. We were assigned to make animals/mythological creatures. I knew he would be a good challenge. I had been wanting to make him before I even began my Intro to Handbuilding class and this was my chance.

I knew he was going to be gigantic. I could not bear him being only decorative. I have tons of decorative things at home and not much space at all. So I decided to make him a cookie jar. This made by leaving his shoulders intact and hollowing out from the bottom.
